What it is

How does EXION Fractional RF Microneedling work?
EXION treats a fraction of the skin at a time, creating a grid of micro-channels surrounded by untreated skin so healing is fast. Radiofrequency energy delivered through the needles heats the deeper layer where collagen is made, and AI-guided energy control sets the depth for each area of the face — shallower on the forehead, deeper on the cheeks. The result is collagen remodeling that tightens, smooths and resurfaces from the inside out.
Does it hurt?
Not the way people expect. Numbing cream goes on for about 30 minutes before we start, at no extra cost. Because EXION’s extended mode sends the energy deeper than the needles go, the needles stay shallow and the treatment stays comfortable. Most patients feel warmth and the occasional “spicy” spot along the jaw or forehead — and that’s it.
What’s the downtime?
Your face will be pink, like a mild sunburn, for about a day. Most patients go back to work the next morning. No peeling, no bandages. We ask you to stay out of direct sun for a few days afterward.
How long does a treatment take, and how many do I need?
A full-face treatment takes about 45 minutes; spot treatments run 10 to 20 minutes. Most patients see the best correction with a series of three, spaced about four weeks apart. You’ll notice a difference after one — the series is what changes the skin.
When will I see results?
Some glow within days. The real changes — texture, tone, fine lines, firmness — build over the four to six weeks after each treatment as new collagen forms, and keep improving after the series ends.
